Gliclazide Tablets

Function and Efficacy

This product is a second-generation sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drug with a strong effect. Its mechanism is to selectively act on pancreatic islet cells to promote insulin secretion and increase insulin release after eating glucose, so that the production and output of glycogen are inhibited. Animal experiments and clinical use have proven that this product can reduce platelet aggregation and adhesion, and help prevent and treat diabetic microangiopathy.

Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is gliclazide, whose chemical name is: 1-(3-azabicyclo[3,3,0]octyl)-3-toluenesulfonylurea.
