Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) is a compound with the chemical formula Na5P3O10. It is a white powder with a melting point of 622°C. It is soluble in water. Easily soluble in water, its aqueous solution is alkaline, the pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 9.7. It is gradually hydrolyzed in water to generate orthophosphate.
