Use of sodium formate
Use 1: Mainly used in the production of formic acid, oxalic acid and insurance powder
Use 2: Used as a reagent, disinfectant and mordant for the determination of phosphorus and arsenic
Use 3: preservative. It has a diuretic effect. It is allowed in EEC countries, but not in the UK.
Use 4: Used for alkyd resin coatings, plasticizers, high explosives, acid-resistant materials, aviation lubricating oil, adhesive additives
Use five: It is an intermediate for the production of formic acid and oxalic acid, and is also used for the production of dimethylformamide. Also used in medicine, printing and dyeing industry. It's also a precipitator for heavy metals.
