Description

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is a broad spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. It interferes with the ribosome complex formed by tRNA and mRNA by reversibly interacting with the receptor junction on the 30S subunit of the fine nucleosome, preventing the peptide chain from growing and inhibiting protein synthesis, thus rapidly inhibiting the growth of bacterial Chemicalbook and producing antibacterial effect. Oxytetracycline can inhibit gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Rickettsia, mycoplasma, chlamydia, spirochaeta, actinomyces and amoeba. Bacteria were cross-resistant to oxytetracycline and doxycycline.
