What is Chlorpheniramine Maleate Powder ?

BChlorpheniramine maleate, White crystalline powder. Melting point of 131-135 ºC. Soluble in water, ethanol, chlorof, slightly soluble in ether, odorless, bitter taste.

Chlorpheniramine maleate has more antihistamine effect than phenhydramine and promethazine. Used for urticaria, vasodilatory rhinitis, cold, asthma, rhinitis, contact dermatitis, also used for allergy, insect bite and motion sickness caused by medicine and food.

Penicillin potassium is also known as benzyl penicillin, benzyl penicillin G potassium salt, this product is white crystalline powder, odorless or slightly specific odor, moisture absorption. Soluble in water, saline, glucose solution. The aqueous solution is easy to fail when placed at room temperature, and quickly fails when exposed to acids, alkalis, and oxidants. Penicillin has good antibacterial activity against Streptococcus species such as Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Staphylococci that do not produce penicillinase. It has moderate antimicrobial activity against Enterococci. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheria, Bacillus anthracis, Actinomyces bovis, Streptobacillus moniliformis, Listeria, Leptospira and treponema pallidum were sensitive to this product. It also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenzae and Borteria pertussis. Other Gram-negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria are less sensitive to this product. This product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, pepsin streptococcus anaerobes and Bacteroides melaninogens, etc., and poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroides fragilis. Penicillin plays a bactericidal role by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
It has good antibacterial activity against Streptococcus species such as Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and staphylococci that do not produce penicillinase. This product also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenzae and Bordetella pertussis. Other gram negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria are not sensitive to this product. This product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, anaerobic bacteria of peptic Streptococcus and Bacteroides producing melanin, but poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroides fragilis.
