Redispersible emulsion powder is a water-dispersible polymer, which is generally prepared by means of spray drying of polymer emulsion, and its most important characteristic is that it can be redispersible in contact with water, and the performance of the dispersion liquid is basically the same as that of the initial emulsion. The role of redispersible latex powder in dry-mixed mortar

1. Enhance the adhesive
Mortar after adding redispersible latex powder, because of the tensile ability and adhesion ability of the polymer molecular chain, it can firmly stick to the base, so that the mortar and the base form a strong bonding force, increase the alkali strength and durability of the mortar.
2. Improve crack resistance
Because the polymer chain of redispersed latex powder molecules can form a flexible and uniform polymer film layer, which can effectively resist the erosion and spalling of mortar by external environment. At the same time, it can reduce the shrinkage and cracking in the mortar, and improve the durability and durability of the mortar.
3. Improve water resistance
In ordinary mortar, water is easy to penetrate into the interior of the mortar, resulting in mortar cracks and cracking. However, with the addition of redispersible latex powder, it can form a tough polymer film, improve the water resistance of mortar, enhance the impermeability effect, so as to prolong the life of mortar.

Storage

RDX8020 should be stored in a cool place and protected against moisture. Since the product is thermoplastic. It should not be subjected to pressure of high temperatures during storage because of the risk of caking. Storage time should not exceed 6 months from receipt of delivery.
