What is Polymyxin B Sulfate  ?

As a polypeptide antibiotic against gram-negative bacilli, it can change the membrane structure to leak small molecular substances and inhibit the growth of gram-negative bacilli. It has bactericidal effect on Escherichia coli.

Functions:
This product is used for anti-gram-negative bacilli mainly Pseudomonas aeruginosa caused by infections, including urinary tract infections, meningitis, lung infections, sepsis and skin, soft tissue, eye, ear, joint infections. It is also effective in treating infections caused by other negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Pneumococcus, and Influenza bacteria, which are completely cross-resistant to this product and Polymyxin E.
