    Application:
    Indigo is mainly used to dye cotton or cotton yarn. Rural dyeing houses use fermentation to dye native cloth. Most jeans are made of indigo dyed warp yarn and interwoven with white yarn. Cotton cloth without silk light dyeing is called wool blue cloth. It can be continuously impregnated with sodium hydrosulfite. It can also be dyed with wool and silk. It is used in carpets and handicrafts. It is also used to make food dyes and organic pigments. Indigo carmine and bromoindigo are both derivatives of indigo.

    Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.

    Transportation:

    During transportation, it shall be protected from sun exposure, moisture and collision.

    Dyeing process:
    1. Indigo dyes are first reduced to leucosomes by reducing agents such as sodium hydrosulfite etc.;
    2. Yarn or fabric dyed with leuco;
    3. Leucosomes are exposed to aerobic environment for oxidation and fixation;
    4. Post dyeing treatment.
