2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin(DM-β-CD) is a methylated derivative of Beta Cyclodextrin in an alkaline environment. It is a white or off-white powder at room temperature. 2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin has a strong inclusion capacity and is an ideal cosolvent and stabilizer for guest substances, it is widely used in medicine and cosmetics.

1. Medical Field:
2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin can improve drug solubility, control drug release rate, reduce drug toxicity and side effects, enhance drug stability, and enhance the inclusion capacity of oil-soluble molecules. It is expected to be used to improve the bioavailability of various water-insoluble drugs.

2. Daily Chemical Field:
2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin(DM-β-CD) can reduce microbial contamination, keep the skin moist, mask bad odors, promote transdermal absorption of active ingredients, reduce skin irritation, etc. It can stabilize active ingredients and play a sustained release role, and increase the solubility of water-based ingredients.
2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin is mainly used as an emulsifier stabilizer and skin feel regulator in cosmetics and skin care products, and it has a high safety factor.

Precautions For Storage (Use):

① Since 2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin is somewhat hygroscopic, the containers should be kept tightly closed and stored in a dry and ventilated place.

② In case of contact with skin, it is recommended to take off all contaminated clothing and wash with water or shower.

③ After contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Drink water immediately after swallowing. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell.

④ This product is a strong oxidant, flammable, and its vapor is heavier than air, so it can spread on the ground. It can form explosive mixtures with air under rapid heating. Exposure to open flames may produce dangerous gases or vapors.

Shelf Life:

From the date of production, under the specified storage conditions, the shelf life of 2,6-Dimethyl-β-Cyclodextrin is 3 years.
