Dosage and Administration:
A. For Non-24-Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder (Non-24):
Recommended dose (adults): 20 mg taken orally once nightly before bedtime, at the same time every night
Should be taken 1 hour before intended sleep time
B. For Smith-Magenis Syndrome:
Children 3–15 years: 0.7 mg/kg orally once per night (max 20 mg)
Adolescents/Adults ≥16 years: 20 mg once per night
Administration tips:
Take on an empty stomach; food may delay absorption.
Should be taken at the same time every night.
Consistent, long-term use may be necessary to adjust the circadian rhythm.
