    Nature:

    Brown powder. Relative density 1.73 Melting point: 2190℃, boiling point: 3660℃. It is not affected by water, bromine and chlorine at a certain temperature. Uncalcined boronol is insoluble in water in hot nitric acid, sulfuric acid and molten metals such as iron, magnesium and aluminium. The electrical conductivity is low at room temperature and high at high temperatures. Doping with trace carbon can increase the electrical conductivity. It can explode when in contact with hydrogen iodide. Powder can form explosive mixtures with air. When it reaches a certain concentration, it will explode upon encountering a spark.

    Purpose:

    Boron powder can be used in superconducting materials, amorphous alloy materials, aerospace alloy materials, electronic materials, chemical anti-corrosion materials, ceramics, enamel glazes, and nuclear leakage prevention materials. It is used as a dopant for semiconductor material silicon, a material for high-temperature and high-power semiconductor devices, and a material for infrared devices. Boron powder added to metals can be used to manufacture aircraft brake pads, welding materials, boronized alloys and amorphous materials. Special steel made from metals with added boron powder can effectively enhance the wear resistance of the transmission grinding and pressing systems in the mechanical industry. Adding a certain amount of boron powder in the glass industry processing can increase the strength of the glass by tens of times or more. High-purity boron powder can also be used in the processing and manufacturing of drilling tools, replacing various industrial hard alloy drilling tools. Boron powder is widely used in industries such as military, machinery, aerospace, chemical engineering and medicine.
