    Description

    Mixed-Bed Ion Exchange Resin, Hydrogen and Hydroxide Form, is a homogeneous mixture of strong acid cation (SAC) resin in the H⁺ form and strong base anion (SBA) resin in the OH⁻ form. This combination provides simultaneous removal of cations and anions, delivering exceptionally high-quality deionized water in a single step. The cation component is typically a sulfonated polystyrene–divinylbenzene copolymer, while the anion component is a quaternary ammonium functionalized polystyrene–divinylbenzene copolymer. Together, these resins produce water with very low conductivity and silica content, making them ideal for ultrapure water applications.
