Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a semi-crystalline polymer and a chemically synthesized biodegradable polymer material. Its structural repeating unit has five non-polar methylene groups - CH2. When mixed with starch and other substances, it can be made into a completely biodegradable material.

Product Features: 1. Biocompatibility: Excellent compatibility with biological cells in the body, allowing cells to grow normally on its scaffold and degrading into CO2 and H2O. 2. Biodegradability: Completely decomposes into CO2 and H2O in soil and water within 6-12 months. 3. Good compatibility: Excellent compatibility with PE, PP, ABS, AS, PC, PVAC, PVB, PVE, PA, and natural rubber. 4. Good solvent solubility: Soluble in aromatic compounds, ketones, and polar solvents.  5. Highly crystalline and low melting point: With a Tg of -60°C, it is very flexible and offers great stretchability. Its melting point is 60-63°C, allowing for low-temperature molding. Applications: Controlled-release drug carriers, cell and tissue culture media racks, fully biodegradable plastics, surgical sutures, high-strength film and filament moldings, low-temperature impact modifiers and plasticizers for plastics, medical molding materials, industrial and art molding materials, toys, organic colorants, thermal overprint ink adhesives, and hot-melt adhesives. A biodegradable polymer that is non-toxic, biodegradable in soil, with excellent miscibility, mechanical compatibility with many polymers, and good adhesion to a wide range of substrates. It can be used as an extrusion aid, mold lubricant, release agent, pigment and filler dispersant, and polyester segment in polyurethanes and segmented polyesters.
