Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic.The product has a good antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus (methicillin-sensitive strains), Corynebacterium, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, and poor activity on Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Enterococcus in each group.Pseudomonas aeruginosa, anaerobes and other drug resistance to this product.The bacteria had partial or complete cross-resistance to streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin.Neomycin systemic administration has significant nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity, so it is limited to oral or topical application.
