Product Details of Honeycomb Activated Carbon

    I. Product Overview

Honeycomb activated carbon is a structured porous environmental adsorption material manufactured using high-quality coal-based activated carbon and coconut shell activated carbon as core raw materials, supplemented by high-performance binders, and processed through mold extrusion molding and high-temperature activation and calcination. Its distinctive honeycomb through-hole structure balances adsorption performance and fluid permeability, featuring advantages such as a large specific surface area, high adsorption capacity, low wind resistance, high mechanical strength, and long service life. It is widely applied in environmental protection fields including industrial waste gas treatment, wastewater purification, and odor removal. As a core consumable for current VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) treatment, sewage decolorization and deodorization, and air purification, it can adapt to various complex working conditions and meet the environmental governance requirements of different industries.

    II. Core Product Features

    (1) Excellent Adsorption Performance and High Purification Efficiency

The product has a well-developed microporous and mesoporous structure with a specific surface area of 500–900 ㎡/g, enabling rapid adsorption of organic gases, odor molecules, harmful impurities in the air, as well as pigments, organic compounds, heavy metal ions and other substances in wastewater. Featuring a fast adsorption rate and high adsorption capacity, it achieves a removal rate of over 85% for pollutants such as VOCs, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. The purification effect is stable and can effectively meet industrial‑grade purification standards.

    (2) Regular Through‑Hole Structure and Low Resistance Loss

Adopting a standardized honeycomb through‑hole design with uniform and unobstructed channels, the product creates low resistance when air or water flows through, and its wind resistance is much lower than that of traditional granular activated carbon and powdered activated carbon. It is suitable for high‑air‑volume and high‑flow treatment conditions, reducing energy consumption of fans, water pumps and other equipment, lowering the operating cost of environmental protection treatment, avoiding channel blockage, and ensuring long‑term stable operation of equipment.

    (3) High Mechanical Strength, Resistance to Powdering and Shedding

Produced through high‑temperature activation and a special molding process, the product has a dense overall structure with a compressive strength of ≥0.8 MPa, excellent wear resistance and impact resistance. No dust falls off during transportation, installation and use, avoiding blockage of pipelines, adsorption towers, filter tanks and other equipment, reducing equipment maintenance frequency and extending service life.

    (4) Strong Working Condition Adaptability and Wide Application Range

The product is water‑resistant, heat‑resistant, acid‑ and alkali‑corrosion‑resistant, and can be used stably within a temperature range of −20 ℃ to 120 ℃, adapting to various complex industrial environments such as acidic, alkaline and humid conditions. It delivers excellent adsorption effects in high‑concentration waste gas treatment, high‑turbidity wastewater purification, indoor air purification and odor control, with strong universality.

    (5) Easy Installation and Modular Adaptation

Designed with standard modular dimensions, conventional sizes allow direct splicing, filling and installation without complex cutting or processing, and are compatible with various waste gas adsorption towers, wastewater filter tanks, air purifiers and other equipment. The dosage can be flexibly adjusted according to the treatment capacity, ensuring high installation efficiency and convenient later replacement and maintenance.

    (6) Environmentally Friendly, Safe and Free of Secondary Pollution

Made of pure high‑quality activated carbon without toxic or harmful substances, the product produces no pollutant emissions during production. After use, it can be recycled through regeneration processes to reduce resource waste, and naturally degradable when discarded without causing secondary environmental pollution, complying with national environmental protection policies and industrial development trends.
