    β - nicotinamide mononucleoside, reduced form (NMNH) is a precursor of NAD + (coenzyme I). the reduced form of NMN, NMNH can quickly and efficiently increase NAD +  levels, participate in physiological processes such as energy metabolism, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory. Compared with ordinary NMN, it performs more outstandingly in enhancing NAD + , improving cell metabolism, and anti-aging effects. It is commonly used in the research and production of dietary supplements and anti-aging health products.

    1、 Natural source (extremely low content)

    1. Food source: NMNH is with extremely low natural content in nature, only present in trace amounts in breast milk, animal liver, yeast, some mushrooms, deep-sea fish, and fermented foods. The cost is very high and the purity is low.

    2、 Artificial synthesis source

    A. Enzymatic synthesis: Currently, the most mainstream proess, the purity of the NMNH manufactured by enzymatic process is high. use nicotinamide Riboside(NR) or nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) as substrates, and prepare NMNH through reductase catalysis. It is widely used in dietary supplements and scientific research project.

    B. Chemical synthesis method: prepared by organic chemical reduction reaction, with low cost, but with many by-products and difficult purification, it is mostly used in industry and basic research, and less used in oral health products.
