    Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES, CAS No.:68585-34-2, INCI: Sodium Laureth Sulfate) is a high-performance anionic surfactant produced by ethoxylation of lauryl alcohol (2-3 moles ethylene oxide) followed by sulfation and neutralization with sodium hydroxide. The product is supplied as a clear to slightly hazy viscous liquid with 68-72% active matter (standard 70% grade) or 28-30% low-concentration liquid for specific applications. It exhibits excellent foaming ability, strong detergency, good hard water resistance and enhanced mildness compared to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).
