Vilon is a classic short-chain bioregulatory peptide developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Derived from the active fragment of thymic polypeptide complex Thymalin, it is one of the smallest bioactive epigenetic peptides with stable structure, high biological activity and excellent human biocompatibility. Vilon acts as a core epigenetic and immune regulatory peptide. It specifically binds to the minor groove of double-stranded DNA through electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding, remodeling condensed chromatin structure in aging cells. It reverses gene silencing caused by cellular aging and reactivates the transcription of key genes related to immune differentiation, cell proliferation and tissue repair.

It effectively modulates the NF-κB inflammatory pathway, regulates the secretion of immune cytokines such as IL-2, and promotes the differentiation and maturation of T lymphocytes.
