1. Physical Properties
(1) Appearance: A white or slightly yellow flocculent, fibrous, granular, or powdery substance that is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, with strong hygroscopicity.
(2) Solubility: Easily soluble in cold or hot water, forming a clear or slightly yellow colloidal solution; insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, and acetone.

2. Chemical Properties
(1) It is an anionic cellulose ether; the carboxyl groups on the molecular chain can dissociate, and its aqueous solution exhibits a certain degree of electrical conductivity.
(2) It remains stable within a pH range of 2–10; at pH values below 2, a solid precipitate forms, and at pH values above 10, the solution viscosity decreases significantly.
(3) It possesses weak cation-exchange capacity; the pKa of the carboxyl group is approximately 4 in pure water, making it suitable for the separation of neutral and alkaline proteins.
(4) It has good chemical resistance, is not easily oxidized, and maintains stable solution viscosity even in high-salt environments.
3. Main Applications
(1) Oil drilling: Used as a drilling fluid additive to reduce fluid loss, stabilize wellbores, and withstand high-temperature, high-salt downhole environments.
(2) Textile industry: Replaces starch in warp sizing to enhance yarn strength and abrasion resistance, thereby reducing yarn breakage during weaving.
(3) Food Industry: Used as a thickener and stabilizer in ice cream, jams, and beverages to improve product texture and taste.
(4) Other Applications: It can also be used for paper reinforcement, thickening toothpaste in the personal care industry, as a binder for pharmaceutical tablets, and for shaping ceramic green bodies.

The product strictly complies with the GB/T 2961-2014 national standard, accompanied by a complete set of MSDS, commodity inspection reports, and hazardous packaging certificates, and meets EU REACH import and export requirements. Standard packaging includes 200 kg galvanized closed-top steel drums and 1,000 L IBC containers. For large volumes, bulk transport via tank containers is available. Storing and transporting the product in a sealed, light-protected environment effectively delays oxidation and discoloration. Supply is stable and ample, supporting full-container and consolidated shipments for international trade, and meeting global chemical procurement and custom fine chemical production needs.
