Cerium(IV) Sulfate (Cerium Tetrasulfate)

Key Chemical Properties

1. Strong oxidizing agent under acidic conditions, the core reagent for cerimetric redox titration;
2. Yellow crystal powder, deliquescent, easily hydrolyzed in neutral water to form cerium oxide precipitate;
3. Stable in dry sealed solid state, decomposed by high temperature to release sulfur oxide gas;
4. Good catalytic activity for oxidation, esterification and ring-opening organic reactions.
