Aluminum potassium sulfate, commonly known as potassium alum or potash alum, is a double salt with the molecular formula KAl(SO₄)₂·12H₂O and a molecular weight of 474.39 g/mol. This white crystalline powder or chunks is one of the most widely used alum salts in industrial and household applications. Aluminum potassium sulfate is manufactured through the following routes:

• Crystallization: The product is crystallized from aqueous solution to obtain the dodecahydrate form.
