Product Overview

Calcium sulfate is an inorganic compound with the molecular formula CaSO₄ and a molecular weight of 136.14 g/mol. This white crystalline powder is a widely used industrial chemical, known in its hydrated form as gypsum (CaSO₄·2H₂O). The compound is used in construction materials, as a desiccant, in food processing as a firming agent and calcium supplement, and as a pharmaceutical excipient. Its excellent water-binding properties and low solubility make it valuable in various applications. The anhydrous form, known as anhydrite, is used as a drying agent for gases and liquids.

A: Yes, we can provide a free sample, but the shipping cost will be paid by the customers. You can either pay the shipping cost or arrange a courier to collect the samples.
