This product is DL-Menthol (also known as racemic menthol), with CAS No. 89-78-1 and the chemical name 2-isopropyl-5-methylcyclohexanol. Its molecular formula is C₁₀H₂₀O and the molecular weight is approximately 156.27. It normally appears as colourless transparent needle-shaped crystals or white crystalline powder, featuring the characteristic cool aroma of mint and a cooling sensation on the palate.
