Disperse Yellow 64 Use and Manufacturing
It is obtained from disperse yellow E-3G (C.I. Disperse Yellow 54) through bromination. There are two types of bromination processes: using Disperse Yellow E-3G dry powder as raw materials; using 2-methyl-3-hydroxyquinoline-4-carboxylic acid and phthalic anhydride as raw materials, synthesizing Disperse Yellow E-3G and then directly brominating
Disperse Yellow 3G is mainly used for dyeing polyester. It can get bright and pure yellow. It has excellent fastness to sunlight and good hiding power. It is the main dye for medium and light colors. As one of the three primary colors, it can be combined with Disperse Red 3B (or Disperse Red FB) and Disperse Blue 2BLN (or Disperse Blue FBL). It has good compatibility, good levelness and stable color. It is also used for the direct printing of polyester silk; it is used for dyeing polyester wool blended products with less wool staining. It can also be used for dyeing nylon and acetate fibers.
