C.I. Reactive Blue 198 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid, ethylenediamine, tetrachlorobenzoquinone, cyanuric chloride and m-aminobenzenesulfonic acid as raw materials. First, 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is condensed with ethylenediamine, and then the nitro group is reduced. Then, it is condensed with tetrachlorobenzoquinone to obtain [oxa]azine intermediate. Then it is condensed with cyanuric chloride, and finally condensed with m-aminobenzene sulfonic acid to obtain the product. After salting out, filtering and drying, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Reactive Blue KE-GN is mainly used for dyeing and printing cotton and viscose fabrics, and can also be used for one-bath dyeing of polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose blended fabrics, resulting in brilliant blue. High temperature stability.
