Solvent Blue 97 is an anthraquinone blue chromogenic dye. It is a solvent soluble dye for plastics with high heat stability, good lightfastness and weather resistance, high color strength and outstanding brilliance.

Solvent Blue 97 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and 2, 6-diethyl-4-methylaniline as raw materials, 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone is first reduced to its leuco body, and then combined with 2, 6-dihydroxyanthraquinone Ethyl-4-methylaniline is condensed and then oxidized to give the product. After filtering and drying, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Solvent Blue RR is used to color all kinds of plastics.

Solvent Blue 97 is a blue solvent dye. It has good heat resistance and light fastness, good migration resistance and high tinting strength with wide application. Highly recommended for polyester fiber PET fiber, also allowed to be use for PA6 fiber. It is widely used in PS PET PA PC ABS (polyolefin, polyester, polycabonate, plastics).
