N′-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-N-methylformamidine Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The xylene solution of 2, 4-dimethylaniline and N-methylformamide is added dropwise with phosphorus oxychloride under stirring. After the addition, the temperature is increased to 70°C and the reaction is continued for 3 hours. After cooling, washing and neutralization, monoformamidine is obtained. Raw material consumption quota: 2, 4-dimethylaniline (95%) 710kg/t, N-dimethylformamide (95%) 440kg/t, phosphorus oxychloride (98%) 550kg/t.

Uses

It is an efficient and safe acaricide, which can effectively control a variety of mites, and has better control effect against antagonistic mites.
