IHARA plans to launch seven new solutions in Brazil by 2024
IHARA revealed that it plans to launch seven new solutions in Brazil this year and expects to register ten products, including biologics, by 2026.
In 2023, the company introduced seven new products, including one insecticide, one fungicide, four herbicides and one biologics; More than 200 research projects have been conducted covering the development of new products, innovative formulations and new applications of existing products; By 2024, the company has more than 160 projects in development.
In addition, its product labeling is increasingly comprehensive, aiming to maximize production potential and reduce the number of field applications. IHARA said it is committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to Brazilian farmers to help improve the productivity and quality of their crops.
The company currently has 18 new active ingredients in its pipeline and could develop 164 new fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and biologics in the coming years. In addition, the company has invested in a laboratory focused on the development of biological products, and set up a dedicated technical group to explore new active ingredients, with the goal of developing at least 15 new biological solutions.
IHARA has three research centres, Sorocaba (SP), Sarandi (PR) and Primavera do Leste (MT), which are used to handle 90% of the company's research activities, with the remainder carried out through partnerships with Embrapa, universities and other well-known private institutions in the country and abroad.
