Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is that tert-butyl isothiocyanate reacts with isopropylamine to generate thiourea. Vacuum isopropylamine and toluene into the reactor, stir and add tert-butyl isothiocyanate dropwise at 10~25℃, drip in about 1~2h, continue to keep warm and stir for 2~4h, put it into the centrifuge after the reaction is over After filtering, the filtrate is recovered and used, and the solid thiourea is obtained after the filter cake is dried.

Uses

1-Isopropyl-3-tert-butyl thiourea, referred to as thiourea, is an intermediate of the insecticide thiazinone.
