Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to add the solvent toluene into the reaction kettle, add cyanuric chloride under stirring, cool to -15°C, and maintain the reaction temperature at -5-10°C by passing ammonia gas. After the reaction, cool, crystallize and filter to obtain 2 -Amino-4, 6-dichlorotriazine, then put methanol and solid alkali into another reaction kettle, heat the reaction under stirring, and after a certain period of reaction, filter while hot, cool, crystallize, filter and dry to obtain the finished product.

Uses

2-Amino-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine is an intermediate of sulfonylurea herbicide ethersulfuron.
