Tapioca Alpha Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Starch is esterified with orthophosphoric acid (or sodium phosphate or potassium phosphate) or sodium tripolyphosphate, washed and dried.

Uses

Thickener; stabilizer; binder. It is used to preserve frozen food, and it can be frozen and thawed repeatedly, and still has a good shape-keeping effect.
