Description
Ginsenoside Rg3 is the main component of Red ginseng. Ginsenoside Rg3 inhibits Na+ and hKv1.4 channel with IC50s of 32.2±4.5 and 32.6±2.2 μM, respectively. Ginsenoside Rg3 also inhibits Aβ levels, NF-κB activity, and COX-2 expression.

Ginsenoside Rg3 Use and Manufacturing
10 mg of ginsenoside Rd obtained in the above procedure was precisely taken and 5 samples were placed in 2 ml of a cryogenic sterile vial, and the lid (Screw Stopper & silicone ring) was closed and placed in a 125 ml bottle.Then, the above-mentioned optical filter bottle was placed in a sterilizer (SANYO autoclave, MLS-3780 model) and the mixture was steamed for 2 hours under a pressure of 0.13 to 0.15 MPa at 120 and After 2 hours, only one of the five samples was taken out, and the remaining was subjected to further steaming at the same temperature and pressure conditions. By repeating the above procedure, the boiled water was obtained according to the time (2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours) and the contents of the ginsenosides Rd, Rg3-S and Rg3-R are shown in Table 2 by HPLC analysis.
Ginsenoside Rg3 is the main component of total ginsenosides, accounting for about 4.7%, and has an effect on endothelial relaxation of the aorta.
