5-(2-methylpiperazine-1-sulfonyl)isoquinoline is a member of isoquinolines and a N-sulfonylpiperazine. It has a role as an EC 2.7.11.13 (protein kinase C) inhibitor.|A specific protein kinase C inhibitor, which inhibits superoxide release from human neutrophils (PMN) stimulated with phorbol myristate acetate or synthetic diacylglycerol.
