Tabtoxin is a monobactam phytotoxic dipeptide produced by Pseudomonas syringae, that causes wildfire disease in tobacco. It has a role as a bacterial metabolite and a toxin. It is a monobactam, a dipeptide, a L-threonine derivative and a secondary alcohol. It derives from a tabtoxinine beta-lactam.
