Prometryn Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Prozac is synthesized with mefensulfur by taking promethazine as an intermediate. The synthesis of promethazine is also a mesotriazine herbicide with the chemical name 2-chloro-4, 6-diisopropylaminotriazine. It is prepared by reacting cyanuric chloride and isopropylamine under alkaline conditions. Operation process: At a temperature lower than 5℃, put a certain amount of cyanuric chloride and 4 times the amount of water in the reaction pot, stir and dissolve, control 0~10℃, add metered isopropylamine dropwise at a constant speed, and increase the temperature 15~30℃, add metered alkali, react at 35℃ for 2h, and finally make the material alkaline, centrifugally separated, washed with water until neutral, for the next reaction. The synthetic intermediate of promethazine is reacted with sodium sulfide to form a disulfide through a "sulfhydryl bridge", and then reacted with sodium hydroxide through air oxidation to form the corresponding compound containing sodium mercapto, and finally synthesized with dimethyl sulfate Flapping grass. Operation process: Add an appropriate amount of water and measure the dissolved sodium sulfide and sulfur aqueous solution to the reaction kettle, then put in a certain amount of promethazine under stirring, warm up to 100~105℃, react for 5h, then add a certain amount of liquid alkali , Continue the reaction for 1h, and pass air to oxidize, react at 100°C for 5h, end the oxidation and cool, add the metered dimethyl sulfate uniformly at 60°C, control the temperature not to exceed 65°C, react for 45min, and then continue at 65~70°C After reacting for 2h, after cooling, centrifugal separation, washing with water, and drying, we can get chlorpyrifos.
