L-Glucose (L-(-)-Glucose) is an enantiomer of D-glucose. L-Glucose can promote food intake[1].


Aldehydo-L-glucose is the L-enantiomer of aldehydo-glucose. It is a L-glucose and an aldehydo-glucose. It is an enantiomer of an aldehydo-D-glucose.|Levoglucose has been used in trials studying the diagnostic of Bowel Cleansing Prior to Colonoscopy.|A primary source of energy for living organisms.
