1-Chloro-3-fluoro-2-propanol Use and Manufacturing
Using diethylene glycol as the solvent, the mixture of epichlorohydrin and hydrogen fluoride-potassium fluoride was heated to reflux at 118°C. After the reaction, rat gamboge was obtained by distillation under reduced pressure. Or use epichlorohydrin and KHF2 to react in diethylene glycol at 160-170°C, and obtain rat gamboge by distillation under reduced pressure and atmospheric pressure.
Highly toxic, fast-acting fluoroalcohol rodenticide. Mainly used for rodent control in the wild, especially for grassland pastoral areas. It can be absorbed through the skin, and can cause poisoning and death by contact with the digestive system, respiratory system or skin. The use content is 0.6%. When it is used for rodent control in houses, warehouses, ships, etc., put poison bait in the rat hole (next to) or in a place where rats often move. Put 4 piles in each room, 5-10g per pile. At 10g per hole, dead rats can be seen 24h after administration, and peaks appear in 2 to 4d. Rats are controlled after 4d.
