Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to add 2, 4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyaniline into the reaction kettle, then add hydrochloric acid to make salt, then add a certain amount of hydrochloric acid to stir, cool to 0℃, add dropwise sodium nitrite After dripping the solution, keep it for 1h, then add stannous chloride solution dropwise. After dripping, react at room temperature for 3h. After the reaction, the material is discharged and filtered, and the filtrate is recovered by stannous chloride. The next step is to add 20% sodium hydroxide solution into the reaction kettle, add the hydrazine salt in batches, and cool to maintain a certain temperature. After the hydrazine salt is added, react for 2 hours, and the product is precipitated and filtered.

2,4-Dichloro-5-isopropoxyphenylhydrazine is an intermediate of the herbicide oxadiazon.
