Oleic acid Use and Manufacturing
Using fats and oils containing a certain amount of oleic acid as raw materials, such as tallow, lard, and palm oil, fatty acids are decomposed, and fatty acids are dissolved and cooled with a solvent to remove solid fatty acids to obtain crude oleic acid. Then dissolve with solvent and cool at low temperature to crystallize oleic acid.
Oleic acid is a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid. Oleic Acid is obtained by the hydrolysis of various animal and vegetable fats and oils. Oleic Acid is used as an emulsifying or solubilizing agent in aerosol products.
