Chinese medicine enters the era of plant extraction
In recent years, as botanical medicine, Chinese medicine, and traditional Chinese herbs gradually shine in the international medical field, plant extract products with functional or active characteristics are becoming more and more popular. An independent emerging industry between medicine, food, fine chemicals and agriculture, its development speed even exceeds the growth rate of the pharmaceutical market.
"We live in a world closely related to nature. We have a long history of the development and effective use of these precious resources. This is also the material basis of the development of Chinese pharmacy." Sun Bo has been engaged in plant extraction research for more than 30 years : "Everyone is now promoting big health, and plant extraction is the cornerstone of big health." Along the way, Sun Bo witnessed the industry's trajectory from independent rise to vigorous development.
In recent years, with the popularity of the “Natural No Additive” advertising hot word, consumers ’consumption concepts and consumption trends have changed. Coupled with the vast territory of China, it spans the cold, temperate, subtropical and tropical regions, with rich vegetation and traditional Chinese medicine. The materials are also relatively rich, so Chinese plant extracts have gradually become the main force in the export of Chinese traditional medicine products, accounting for more than 80%! The national policy is actively supported, and the export tax rebate rate is as high as 9%-15%.
However, compared with the popular Chinese herbal extracts, the long-established traditional Chinese medicines have not been recognized internationally. The same principle of Japanese, Korean and Korean prescriptions can be widely popular in the international market. The main crux lies in the Japanese and Korean Hanfang Pharmaceutical, which is somewhere between Chinese and Western medicine. Although it is not as clear as the purity of Western chemical medicines, it does clarify the active ingredients of the medicines. The theory of traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes fusion, and most of them do not have clear medicinal ingredients. They simply emphasize the role of compound medicine, so they have not been recognized internationally.
In the future, it is inevitable for traditional Chinese medicine to enter the international market without clearing the medicinal active ingredients. Plant extraction will help Chinese medicine become more scientific and theoretical.
