On April 10, 2020, the website of Guiyang municipal market supervision and Administration Bureau released the notice on the results of 2019 paint and coating product quality supervision and spot check.

The spot check involves 21 batches of paint and coating products produced by 9 enterprises in Guiyang City, all of which are qualified. The detection rate of problem products is 0%, and the detection rate of problem enterprises is 0%. The spot checks are based on GB/T9755-2014 "synthetic resin emulsion exterior wall coating", GB/T9756-2009 "synthetic resin emulsion interior wall coating", GB 18582-2008 "indoor decoration and finishing materials, harmful substances limits in interior wall coatings", GB 24408-2009 "limits of harmful substances in building exterior wall coatings", GB/T 25251-2010 alkyd resin coatings, JT/T 722-2008 standard requirements for anticorrosive painting of steel structures for highway bridges, JG/T 24-2000 "synthetic resin emulsion sand wall architectural coatings" and other standard requirements for volatile organic compounds (VOC), free formaldehyde, soluble heavy metals, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene, ethylene glycol ether and ether ester content, contrast ratio, water resistance, etc.

Alkali resistance, scrub resistance, low temperature stability, stain resistance, artificial climate aging resistance, drying time, outflow time, fineness, luster, hardness, nonvolatile content, volatile oil resistance, salt spray resistance, adhesion (pull out method) and other items were inspected.
