AkzoNobel to supply Porsche China with complete water-based refinish products

AkzoNobel has been approved to officially supply its water-based refinish products and business to Porsche China.
AkzoNobel and Porsche China officially signed a centralized procurement contract for water-based refinish products on May 1st this year. This groundbreaking initiative marks the first time that Porsche China has worked with AkzoNobel It also marks that the partnership between two large enterprises has finally taken root in China and has laid a good foundation for future development.
Porsche is a world-renowned automobile brand, and China is one of the largest markets for Porsche at present. For AkzoNobel, the establishment of this partnership means "win-win".

For Porsche China, the enterprises attach great importance to AkzoNobel's full range of water-based product solutions, carbon emission reduction commitments, and agile technical service support and value-added services. The full range of water-based product solutions will help Porsche China meet China's strict national standards for Volatile organic compound (VOC), and AkzoNobel's commitment to carbon emission reduction will help Porsche China achieve its carbon emission goals. In addition, AkzoNobel will send professional technicians to provide agile technical service support and value-added services to help Porsche China improve the customer experience.
At the initial stage of cooperation, AkzoNobel will provide Porsche China with products including water-based primer, paint and varnish, so that Porsche can provide customers with a more innovative and refined solution of water-based touch up paint.

Patrick Bourguignon, head of AkzoNobel's automotive and special coatings business, said: "We are very happy to cooperate with one of the world's most prestigious automotive manufacturers to provide our first-class automotive paint products and color knowledge, and contribute to improving customer experience."
“Adopting more sustainable methods is in line with everyone's expectations, so we work closely with customers to create better targeted solutions to achieve our common environmental goals, "added Patrick Bourguignon. “Because when we talk about high performance, it not only includes our products, technical services, and support, but also applies to all the goals we strive to achieve.”
