Yizheng chemical fiber biodegradable plastic realizes industrial production
Recently, the new biodegradable copolyester materials PBST and PBAT developed by Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company have been industrialized on a 10,000-ton-level polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) unit, which is the first to be used in engineering plastics industry New breakthroughs have been made in the greening of materials, which has promoted the industrialization of biodegradable materials at home and abroad.
Yizheng Chemical Fiber has built a new continuous esterification PBT production line using purified terephthalic acid (PTA) as a raw material through the introduction of technology. Through digestion, absorption and innovation, it has two domestic production lines successively, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons. The product structure has formed 24 varieties of fiber, modified, optical cable, fiber type, film, low melting point, elastomer and so on.
Yizheng Chemical Fiber has accelerated the development of production technology and market application development of new biodegradable copolyester materials PBST and PBAT through the joint research of industry, university and research institute, and seized the new "blue ocean" of market competition in the engineering plastics industry.
Since this year, Yizheng Chemical Fiber will accelerate the promotion of PBST and PBAT industrialization as key scientific and technological key projects, and has established a professional joint on-site office working mechanism for technology development, research institutes, production technology, safety and environmental protection, analysis and inspection, etc. The action project of "Hundred Days to Toughen and Create Effectiveness" successfully broke through the "last mile" of industrial production. The analysis and test data show that the key quality indicators of PBST and PBAT have reached the expected target.
PBST and PBAT are copolymerized thermoplastic biodegradable plastics that are copolymerized by citing new monomers during the PBT polymerization process. They combine the excellent thermal stability, mechanical properties and aromatic polyester biodegradability of aromatic polyesters. It can be converted into water and carbon dioxide under composting conditions. It is currently one of the most active biodegradable plastics research and one of the best degradable materials in the market. It can replace general materials such as polyolefins and polyesters, and is widely used as a disposable Daily necessities, packaging materials, agricultural films and other fields are an important way to solve the "white pollution" of plastics.
