Bayer signed several investment agreements at the Expo
On November 5, Bayer announced that it would participate in the Expo for the fifth consecutive year with its three business divisions of prescription drugs, health consumer goods and crop science.
During the Expo, Bayer Crop Science Association signed an investment agreement with Qiantang District, Hangzhou, to further meet the needs of China and the Asia Pacific market. Bayer "Yun Yuan Farm" will welcome two new partners, Shanghai Pudong New Area and Shandong Plain Luwang Group, to apply the concept of sustainable agriculture to the planting and production of field crops in China. The company also joined hands with Yara to sign contracts with local enterprises such as Aikonon, Original Life, Green Leaf Investment and Lianghehui to provide end-to-end digital agricultural solutions.
Werner Paulman, chairman of Bayer Group Management Committee, said: "This year is the fifth time that Bayer has participated in the Expo, and we have also ushered in a milestone of 140 years in China. Since we first participated in the Expo five years ago, we have actively cooperated with Chinese partners to display our latest research results on the platform of the Expo. As the most important import expo in China, the Expo has greatly promoted multinational companies like Bayer to share China's opportunities and integrate into China's economic development pattern."
