Guide to digital transformation of smalland medium-sized enterprises issued
Recently, the Notice of the General Officeof the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Issuance of DigitalTransformation Guidelines for SMEs was issued. The Guide aims to help SMEspromote digital transformation scientifically and efficiently, enhance theability to provide digital products and services for SMEs, and provideguidelines for relevant departments to carry out relevant work.
The "Guide" puts forward 14specific initiatives in three aspects, including enhancing the transformationcapacity of enterprises, improving the level of transformation supply, andincreasing policy support for transformation.
In terms of enhancing the transformationcapability of enterprises, the Guide proposes transformation paths in terms ofconducting digital assessment, promoting management digitization, carrying outbusiness digitization, integrating into digital ecology, and optimizing digitalpractices, in order to fully stimulate the transformation momentum of SMEsthemselves.
In terms of improving the level oftransformation supply, the Guide proposes to enhance the matching of supply anddemand, carry out whole-process services, develop lightweight applications, anddeepen eco-level collaboration, etc., aiming to guide the supply side to focuson the characteristics and actual needs of SMEs and improve the level ofdigital transformation products and services for SMEs. The Guide mentions thatdigital transformation service providers should focus on the transformationpain points and difficulties of SMEs, and provide "small, fast, light andaccurate" products and solutions.
In terms of increasing the transformationpolicy support, the Guide proposes to strengthen the transformation ofguidance, increase financial support, promote pilot applications, improvesupporting services, optimize the development environment and othertransformation path.
Information Technology DevelopmentDepartment of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the lack offunds for transformation is one of the core challenges of digitaltransformation of SMEs. To increase financial support, reduce the threshold ofdigital transformation of SMEs. Encourage conditional localities to supportSMEs on the cloud and platform through special funds, subsidy policies andother means. Encourage financial institutions to provide products and servicesrelated to the digital transformation of SMEs.
