Invest 50 million US dollars! CJ BIO salty flavor factory opened
On May 29, CJ BIO, a Malaysian producer of fermented biological products, announced the official opening of its natural fragrance factory in Jombang, East Java, which cost US $ 50 million.
The new plant will help CJ BIO to produce thousands of tons of TasteNrich (a new innovative natural cooking solution platform), ensure sustainable supply, and strengthen CJ's leading position in the savory solutions market.
Consumers are paying more and more attention to health issues nowadays, especially the foods they consume daily and their sources. Therefore, food safety, reliability, transparency and sustainability are the focus of the recent food market, reflecting the demands of consumers.
TasteNrich enables food developers and manufacturers to achieve clean labeling and healthy food claims, such as non-GMO, allergen-free, non-animal origin, and halal / kosher certification. As a natural salty flavor, TasteNrich can provide dishes with rich, authentic flavor. It can be used in a variety of food categories, such as sauces, seasonings, soups, noodles and household replacement meals, as well as innovative products such as plant-based meat substitutes and vegetarian food.
