The Process in which Paper is Made

A device called a dandy moves across the paper, and a design is pressed into the paper. A big machine that has up to 70 drying cylinders is used to remove the rest of the water. The paper is then passed through metal rollers called calendars to compress it even more. The paper is finally coiled into huge reels and further processed for the intended use.
