FIC 2020 will open in Shanghai on August 4th

The sudden epidemic has caused the world to face a severe test. All aspects of society have been severely impacted. The food additives and ingredients industry has also been greatly affected. The industry’s most important event, FIC, has been postponed several times. However, in the face of the disaster, under the wise leadership of the Party Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping at the core, the people of the whole country worked together to overcome the difficulties and achieved a major victory in the fight against epidemics. At present, the gradual and comprehensive resumption of production and production, and economic recovery is the most important task. In such an urgent situation, the food additives and ingredients industry responded to the call of the Party Central Committee and acted swiftly to contribute to the overall economic recovery.

On this basis, the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Light Industry Branch actively promote the industry's resumption of production and production. At the industry's request, as soon as conditions permit, the industry exhibition will be held as soon as possible. In order to promote this work safely and effectively, we have recently conducted a comprehensive survey. From the feedback, the industry has a strong desire to hold an exhibition. Many companies hope to start as soon as possible, strengthen exchanges with users, and promote the production and sales of enterprises to resume as soon as possible. There are also some foreign exhibitors. Due to the epidemic situation and traffic, this year will not be able to participate. Judging from the overall survey statistics, less than one-fifth of the exhibitors failed to participate due to objective factors.

After various investigations and demonstrations, and after obtaining approval and support from relevant national authorities, the 2020 Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition (FIC2020) will be held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from August 4 to 6. While strictly doing epidemic prevention work, FIC will do its utmost to do a good job in preparations for the exhibition, to create a trade platform for the exchange of food additives and ingredients under the new normal combination of domestic and foreign trade, online and offline, to provide more power for enterprises Business opportunities and a full range of services. I believe that with the joint efforts of everyone, the exhibition will be turned into a grand and special industry event!
