Hubei Fengshan new material project started
A groundbreaking ceremony for Jiangsu Fengshan Group Co LTD's Hubei Fengshan New materials project was held at Baiyang Industrial Park in Yichang High-tech Zone, Hubei province, on Dec 20.
The project, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan and an area of 504 mu, is scheduled to be completed in March 2024. After completion, it can make use of the surplus chlorine gas in Tianjiahe area to produce 130,000 tons of toluene chlorination and fluorination high-end fine chemicals of the whole industrial chain, with an estimated annual sales revenue of 4.5 billion yuan. The project plans to build MES system to realize the digital management of the whole process of manufacturing from raw material procurement, production to product sales. Choose international first-line brand monitoring equipment, improve the intrinsic safety level; We will introduce advanced equipment and technology in the environmental protection industry to realize resource recycling and cleaner production.
Fengshan Group said that Hubei Fengshan will focus on the project of p-chlorotoluene and extend downstream to develop serialized fine chemical intermediates which can be applied in new medicines, pesticides and dyes, to further enrich the company's product line, improve the competitiveness of related product chain and enhance the company's profitability.
