Pakistan-Ban on Cultivation of Cotton Before April 1
There is a complete ban on cultivation of cotton in the province before the start of April. Punjab agriculture department sources said this here on Sunday. Sources said that attack chances of pink bollworm on early-sown cotton increases. And keeping in view the possibility, the department has banned early sowing of the crop. Sources further said that field teams have been mobilized to counter the attack of white fly and pink bollworm.
